Well I'm going to have stab at the 5 stories rather than the author.
There are 8 stories where the title starts with 'The'. There's a possibility that 5 of them were written by the same author.

The Road Not Taken - 0 Votes

@elevet says the author got 3 votes so at least two stories out of the 5 got 0 votes. The remaining 3 got 3 votes between them. I can't quite get the maths to work because there aren't enough out of the list with 1 vote.

It's a quite common phenomenon amongst winners of the 75-word challenges that the minds of those who choose the theme and genre go spectacularly blank.
EDIT: By the way, I've never entered one of these Anonymous challenges, so The Big Picture is not my work. (I hope, by saying so, I haven't broken the challenge rules.)
I submitted 3 stories (mainly because I was bored - there was quite a long period when there was very little for me to review) and got 1 vote, of which I am extraordinarily proud.

I like that people are chiming in. Someone should be able to put up nice big Truth Table by now.
When it comes to the guessing games, there are no specific rules (well, short of saying which one you wrote). We make it up as we go along.
