This is probably the most frightening video I have watched. Whether it renders my life meaningful or meaningless I can't decide. It isn't so much the entropy and heat death, that I know are coming eventually. It is the simply mind numbing scale of time and physics that follows the last star. You may wish to take antidepressants in advance of watching what the fate of the universe will be.

That was good. Roger Penrose conformal cyclic universe idea sees a new universe, born from the death of the old? I've forgotten the details, but he proposes possible evidence in the form of super heavy 'erebon' particles to be found in the LIGO Detector 'wastebasket'
