(Found) Help finding series

Years ago, I bought a book series from the science fiction book club. The plot was about a doctor who ends up getting a transfusion from Dracula and becomes half vampire. I remember he had a love interest who was a werewolf, and assorted other supernatural creatures in his circle of friends. I remember buying the first book, then there were two or three others I bought in an omnibus. Any help identifying/locating them would be appreciated

Possibly the Halflife Chronicles series by Wm Mark Simmons, first book One Foot in the Grave

This gets you the half-vampire by blood transfusion, the werewolf girlfriend, the other supernatural miscellany, but I haven't found any indication that the MC is a doctor in the blurbs or reviews.
