Warbreaker

I am a fan of Brandon Sanderson and I have started reading War breaker.
I am wondering if this a "Young Adult" book. It seems the language is very flippant. I'm not sure if it will settle down or if it's this way all the way through.
I am finding it a bit annoying now.
During the writing of this book Brandon got married, I wonder if that has anything to do with the general air of gaiety.
I'll give it another 50 pages.

Warbreaker is not marketed at young adults, but I do agree with you that its writing style feels less adult than his other Cosmere novels. I want to say I read an interview where Brandon said that in writing Warbreaker he made a deliberate choice to attempt writing wittier or funnier characters and that may have blended into the prose.

I'm glad I persevered with this book. It certainly had humour and wit. The world B.S. created for this story is so imaginative ,like all his stories.
There were a few surprises along the way, although the ending was inevitable. It did keep my attention and kept a smile on my face most of the time. In other words, it was really entertaining.
