Can't help you myself about WOTF, as I've never even looked at it so I don't know anything about its governance, but perhaps if you're anxious to rejoin you contact whoever owns it/runs it and appeal against their verdict. If you're in the dark as to why they've taken this action, then ask for their reasons, and if they've given some explanation perhaps there's a way of avoiding making the same choices/mistakes/whatevers in future.
Anyhow, we'd prefer it if you didn't give any more details here, no matter the rights and wrongs of it, since we need always to be careful of legal issues eg defamation.
Meanwhile, do stick around -- we have a thriving writing forum and we're always happy to meet new members. Our rules here are quite straightforward and the most important rule is one of good manners -- we're expected to behave courteously to each other. Because of the risk of argument and unpleasantness we don't allow any discussion of politics and social affairs anywhere on site (there's a longer explanation of this here
https://www.sffchronicles.com/threads/576686/) and that extends to jokes and cartoons.
The other big rule is that only Supporters can self-promote themselves and their works or blogs/websites etc.
Swearing and the like -- we operate a family friendly policy since we have members of all age ranges and sensibilities. In Critiques and the Writing Challenges we accept that sometimes swear words are important to the story, but we prefer the worst to be ***'d out, and elsewhere we prefer them not to be used, and some words (eg the c-word) are a big no-no. Again, family-friendly-wise, we're not fans of pornography or anything approaching it, so some blue jokes get removed from time to time. We also don't like fan-fic in either place (or elsewhere) because of copyright problems.
Anything potentially defamatory will be removed. Anything the mods consider offensive will be removed. Anything which appears to be posted in breach of copyright is liable to be removed.
Written down like this, it seems a lot! But basically it's common sense and most importantly we treat each other with respect.
I look forward to seeing you around!
