Been watching the twilight films.
Like a lot of big films (or books, I guess) it seems to have taken inspiration from a lot of things.
I noticed star wars the force awakens (I think this the one, introduces ray into the extended abominations) was a really good film (terrible star wars film like most). This was because there was nothing new in it. Almost every theme, scene or even shot could be found in the original trilogy and the horrible prequels.
Back to twilight, I see:
Superman in the flying through the trees scene and super human bits.
Dawson's Creek (never actually watched it) in the endless climbing through the window.
Teen shows like, well most, with five different stereotypes at school.
Obviously a lot of vampire stuff. Interview with a vampire perhaps.
Anyway did anyone notice any other possible inspirations?
