What would you think of making a sci fi show aimed at the reality show watching football loving people of the suburbs?

They made a show about a generation ship but it only ran for one season and wasn't actually set in space.

Apple TV's "For All Mankind" is doing this better than Syfy could ever hoped with "Ascension".

How would you react if they made a show set on a generation ship or space station except this time it is based on contemporary American culture and has exciting space sequences?

Maybe there would be a sports culture on the spacecraft.

What would you think if the athletes also had to be astronauts? Bring It On meets The Right Stuff?

Yeah I know it sounds silly. It would probably be good for Disney or Nickelodeon.

I gave Astronauts a try and it wasn't for me.
For All Mankind is excellent.

A friend of a friend got me to listen to the first chapter of The Rookie. The author started releasing his readings of his work on his podcast 15 years ago or so. In the future humans and aliens compete at American football and special enhanced G suits. It’s not my cup of tea.
