Submissions Call Round-up

Literary journals that pay.

Incidentally, does anyone else here who reads this thread sub to literary journals? I’ve had a lot published in university presses (English departments) and I think it looks good on your writing CV/resumé.
Great stuff, Phyrebrat! I booked marked the page and will be looking further into some of these journals. A great opportunity to push and hone my writing skills, and get my presence known. :)

Mystery writers this time.
Although many of them seem to take SFF too...

I'm starting to send out my newest project (it's a novella trilogy, so kind of an awkward length) so this was super helpful, thanks! (I'm trying the agent route once more, but if no nibbles will move on to indie press with open subs policies.)

Thanks again for doing this @Phyrebrat!
I have two past 100 worders that I'm going to rewrite into 1200 words for Orion's Belt. Enough so that they should clear the Chrons publication test!

If nothing else, it's worth a shot and I can't say I didn't try! :)

This forget is particularly good. I don’t normally sub but there are three here I will be doing over the weekend.
