Looking for critique partner(s)

I was not sure where to post this, moderator gods please be kind to me if this is the wrong place.

I am writing my first novel, a standalone military space opera that is intended to be continued into a series. I was hoping to find some other people who are in the process of writing military s/f, or at least enjoy the genre, that would like to form a small, private group or just a pair to share manuscripts and provide feedback throughout the writing process.

I got the idea from watching writing videos on youtube, if it is something you are interested in PM me.

This thread is fine here. And joining or setting up a writing group is something we always advise newcomers, so you're absolutely on the right tracks there, too!

I don't know if you've found our Critiques section. It's not yet open to you to post a thread there, but as and when you get your 30 counted posts perhaps put up the first few hundred words of your opening. Not only will that give you some immediate feedback, it will allow other members to see what your writing is like and whether it's something they'll enjoy reading, plus it will also show them that you are well able to handle being critiqued. (I know you're not likely to throw a hissy-fit, but it's always good to make it clear!)

I too am interested in a critique group. I have found the critiques section very useful - both to get critique and give it as well as to observe critiques of other people's writing.

I could make a discord group, I am familiar with discord and setting up servers. You can use it from your phone too which is nifty.
