Anyone currently reading Galaxy’s Edge by Jason Anspach and Nick Cole? I’m about halfway through, was wondering if anyone else has thoughts about it.

I’m curious, as I am writing military s/f as well, if it’s just me or other people find the series too heavy to read continuously. I view the books the same way I view the hell divers series, just too heavy to devour in one sitting.

In my own writing, I am trying to balance enough dry/dark humor with heavy action and intrigue to counter balance this unexplained thing that prevents me from reading one book after the other. Is this just me, or do other run into the same issue?

I thought this was about the Disneyland ride. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I've not heard of this book, but i am partial to a good Military SF book. Is it any good?

Yeah. It’s well written, good plot line and writing in my opinion. I switch back and forth between Galaxy’s Edge and Expeditionary force.

Sounds interesting , putting it on my list.

You might find The Dragon Never Sleeps by Glen Cook to be of interest.
