Who is Greater, Arthur C. Clarke or Jack Williamson ?

That was my very oblique way of saying that I think judging one author against another is just an exercise in personal taste comparison.

I like the story. I've found good and bad stories from the same authors so it's moot.

For instance: Robert Aspin's Myth Adventures series were hilarious and very tight (especially the comics) ... until that tepid vampire cows crap dropping.
