Denis Villeneuve's "Rendezvous with Rama"

So, finally, someone is going to give this a try. Hmm, I'll watch this space.
 
If anyone can do great Rama Film , he can . If it proves successful , I wonder of he'll also adapt any of the Rama sequels.
 
I’d home not. RWR is one of my favourite exploration books, but I suspect a small series would be a bit samey.
 
I always get itchy when there is one go-to director for niche projects. Villeneuve is the SF adaptation guy, and he's very good at it. (Much better than the DC comic book adapter guy, Zach Snyder, for instance.)

But I wish someone brilliant would come out of the woodwork with a passion for the material, rather than assigning the best technician for the job. Where's Sally Potter?
