Hey everybody...I'm a big classic Twilight Zone fan and I was watching one last weekend that--because I'm working on a sci fi web series myself with Abraham Lincoln (eventually) in it--struck me particularly "hard." It's called 'Passersby.' Ever seen it?

What I'm really curious is...how many times can we count how often Abraham Lincoln has appeared in sci-fi?

I know he's featured in at least 3 classic TZ episodes. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (if you count this as sci-fi). There was that 'Vampire Hunter' movie or whatever ten years ago back if that counts. Anything else?

He had a spot on a Star Trek TOS episode as well. Hmm, a terrible episode called (I think) The Savage Curtain.

Here's a list from Wikipedia. Not just SF though

Some of the more relevant ones:
The Chase, a 1965 episode of Doctor Who, played by Robert Marsden
Death Trap, a 1966 episode of The Time Tunnel, played by Ford Rainey
In the Red Dwarf episode "Meltdown", Lincoln (played by Jack Klaff) was featured as a Waxdroid in a theme park planet called Waxworld, where evil waxdroids and good waxdroids are fighting.
In Harry Turtledove's alternate history novel The Guns of the South (1992)
In Harry Turtledove's alternate history novel How Few Remain (1997)
Futurama featured different depictions of Abraham Lincoln

We Can Build You by P.K. Dick has an Abraham Lincoln (simulacrum). They build a Stranton and a Booth as well.

I thought he could only 'leap' within his own lifetime

A quick wiki ( qwiki?) reveals

Ah , I didn't realise that. And I don't think that he ever 'leapt' outside of the US of A?

Some very good, emotional episodes, and respectful handling of some key moments in US history (from what I remember).

Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure
Touched By An Angel

Timeless:unsure:

The novel Lincoln In The Bardo would count as fantasy.

A robot model of Lincoln appears in the computer game Bioshock Infinite, equipped with a gatling gun.

And if that's not crazy enough, Lincoln's ghost helps the hero fight Richard Nixon in the comedy Black Dynamite.
