I thought Britain was a fantasy society ever since I saw Monty Python.

Anyone ever looked at their website? There are some good links to authors websites, but I'm not sure I find the rest of the info they offer that informative. Not a hundred percent sure what it is they do either? Can anyone enlighten me? http://www.britishfantasysociety.org.uk/index.htm

I'm a member. It costs me £20pa, because I've the paperless option.
You get various recommendations on new authors, books, etc, a yearbook, and you need to be a member if you want entry to FantasyCon. You also get to nominate and vote for the British Fantasy Awards every year.
