Dr Who, Daleks

Im mising something here, in the Asylum of the Daleks, the Doctor was removed from the Daleks memory, yet since then, they have 'remembered' that theybhate him.
Now, I dont follow the Doctor in the newer series as I did way back, so I could have missed the 'How' the daleks remembered he (she) was an arch enemy.
Anyone care to enlighten me on this please?

I think its just a plot element that Moffat missed/forget about either way, its none relevant in the following eps so its best to let it slide.
