I can't help but be delighted by these. Having done a bit of sand yachting I am well aware of the amount of energy scudding along our beaches.

I'm sure kids are mesmerised by them.

I remember when I was a child, sand yachts being raced across the local (very large) sandy bay. It was probably my first exposure to racing a vehicle. Sadly, it’s something you never see now, which is odd given that it’s probably one of the greener forms of vehicular racing.
