There is currently a series on Sky Arts that "explores the most gripping dystopia, war and myths & legends stories as they are transformed into motion picture.

I know how much we love book lists on this site so here is the list of books covered in the first episode - Dystopia

As for the films, however - 13 - so not much better :(
I really must up my intake of dystopia
 
I saw it was on but didn’t bother watching. Looking at the list, I’m now thinking Dammit!
You didn't really miss that much. It was the usual thing with these sorts of programmes. Each book is briefly mentioned, maybe a quote from it is used, maybe a brief summary, maybe a bit of background, then on to the next.

I tend to use these lists as sort of ideas to add to my "to read" list.
 
I'm rather embarrassed to say that i have only read 7 books on that list and seen 10 movies. I still have The Road and Children of Men on the list that i want to see.
