Details are scant, but it looks like the Rodenberry Archive are remaking the Cage with brand new footage and effects. One of the most impressive feats is putting old characters in not using CGI, but some incredibly lifelike prosthetics.

I really don't know. Probably for Paramount streaming i reckon.

Spock is pretty freaky but will the illusion be broken as soon he opens his mouth because if it is prosthetics, they can't copy his facial movements with that technique. Still, if it is makeup, it is fascinating.
