I love and loved BtVS but going back is just plain wrong. Those tales have been told.

I'm not even sure how they would go back, long time since I drooled over watched Buffy, but didn't it end with Willow making every potential in the world into a Slayer?

I feel like most reboots - it would rely on Nostalgia, bring little new to the table and ultimately be a weaker version than the original show.

For me if there was the money and the will to do it, the only way it would work is to take a very different view of the Buffyverse.
Tales from the now threatened and endangered vampires and monsters, being mercilessly hunted by platoons of un/under-trained Slayers.
What is it really like to be at the centre of the knowledge in the Watchers Council and having to pick and choose which apocalypse to stop?
Would Slayers have to take performance reducing drugs to take part in College or professional sports?

The nearest idea that I would think could work, and has already been done, is along the lines of Fort Salem. A whole army of Witches and Slayers there to keep and make the peace. But peace for who?
