Robbie Coltrane

The first time I saw Robbie Coltrane, it was in Laugh, I Nearly Paid My Licence Fee so, to me, he will always be Mason Boyne.

I worked with someone that worked with him on Cracker.
If ever anyone asked what Robbie was like, the only response was a really big [and slightly evil-looking] grin and the words "You have no idea."
I took that to mean that he was a lot of fun to work with, and the stories were going to stay untold [probably for legal reasons].

Interesting coincidental snippet of British political history on the Today Programme this morning.

A sad loss. The fact that he's remembered by so many people for so many different roles speaks volumes.
