Nope... still nothing from me, not even a glimmer of an idea.

I've just checked, it's not just me, the posts are slow.

In my case the posts aren't slow it's my brain which is slow.

Don't be lured in by Parson, he starts with boring chess games before moving on to the intricate workings of rocket engines and butterflys changing timelines. What he has against butterflys baffles me, but he plays a mean game of chess.

@Bowler1 If "mean game of chess" means an average game of chess. That's too generous by half!! This old man has a hard time thinking two moves ahead, and sometimes I think I'm truly blind.

@VRlass .... He will be back .... This is a story which makes me rethink Arnold Schwarzenegger's place in history.

Okay, there's mine. I had a more subtle concept, and a louder one; as I figured you can't spell 'bombastic' without 'bomb', I went that way. Not sure if it works, but at least I'm in.

I don't see that as a miss, certainly not a bad one. I understand that answers infer questions.

@Luiglin .... It wor me, ar day do it, it never happened .... This is a story which sees the explosion of a dream, or at least the beginnings of one.

@Cat's Cradle .... Herstory .... This is a story which makes me wonder if one bad decision fates the next to be at least as bad.

I've got an idea, but as to whether it really fits the brief? Not sure. Still, I suspect this month's round will yield more stories than when I got to chose the subject for the annoymous 100: Hauntology!!! Crickets and tumbleweeds.
