Ralan closed after 26 years

Anybody who had a story to sell probably stopped by Ralan at some point to check out their database of markets. Sad to see it go.

I guess that leaves TheGrinder and Duotrope for tracking submissions and markets.

Sad news, though I'm not too surprised as I haven't been there in a while.

I never really used it. When I started submitting, I chose The Grinder because it's both free and more user-friendly. Duotrope is a paid option so I never even considered it. Something on Ralan's layout put me off instantly.

@alexvss Yeah I'm a grinder user myself. Recently discovered a new one, literarium.net. Seems like it has some nice features I wish the grinder had but I don't think it's worth the trouble switching over at this point

Never heard of Literarium, thanks for sharing. I’ll keep an eye on them as they grow. Grinder is my current go to as well.
