Ran out of things to watch so tried this out - a series based on the first Lee Child novel - with expectations being suitably low.
And yet, having watched the first 2 episodes, so far this is a wonderfully faithful adaptation.
Although the main character looked younger than he should be, that is the only criticism so far - he carries the character well, and the fight scenes are really well choreographed, brutal, and short.
Astonishingly, it's also well-acted, and the support characters of Roscoe and Finlay really come out well done in this with some great conflict between the three when Reacher is added.
Altogether, so far, all good - makes for great viewing - just hope it keeps this way.
EDIT: Minor warning - there's some frontal nudity involving a male murder victim in the second episode.
