I am told this is in fact an AI voice!
I was fooled in sports by it.
I was surprised by the lack of emotional involvement and the voice would get strange--but then shift back so I assumed it was a bad recording but there's no noise so it can't be old.
If one could increase the emotional qualities--they could probably do a decent fake to trick people.

It did have that clear artificial sound to it. A bit of emotionless staccato in the voice and it was read in a contestant fast pattern too. But still fun!
And like you said, no background noise for a recording if it's that old.
