I just finished the fifth episode of season one of Dark. This is turning out to be a masterpiece of melancholic, existential Science Fiction. I can't remember many (if any) television shows that are as complex and artistic as this. I'm so glad I was turned on to this series!
 
The creators also made 1899 which is very much in the same style but has unfortunately been cancelled after the first season.
