Genuinely saddened to hear this
He is one of my deciding factor actors. If I'm swithering about watching a movie, then discover he appears in it, it becomes a 'must watch' on the spot. Hell, he even made So I Married an Ax Murderer almost bearable.

Good in any role, especially comedy. Yet I will always remember him as the most vile bad guy in Wait Until Dark. They say that comics have a dark side and this performance proved that.

In Frebbie and Bean, he co stared with James Cann , they played two bumblingly inept cops . It's not his best film but for me , it's a guilty pleasure .
