I write these in Word, and Word's spellcheck believes me that sparkplug and lightbulb are one word. The spellcheck when I write in the chrons comment box does not believe me, so I did some quick research that suggests light bulb can be written either way, but spark plug is two words everywhere except the collins dictionary. I have the spare word count to separate both, but you have to live a little, so you get spark plug and lightbulb.
