Idea for a story. HF Parody

I have toyed with the idea of doing a sort of parody on the HF genre. The setting would be 11th century Britain and Europe. The plot would be placing the luminaries of the age to a Heavy Metal/Rock/Pop background. Have only bullet points so far.

I think it might be even more fun to replace the ruling households with the bands
The dynamic internal politics of say Fleetwood Mac would play out as well as any Shakespearian drama
Or unleashing Ozzy and Black Sabbath on an unsuspecting world.
Ha! I just thought 'Emperor Lemmy'. He would be a classic.
