Hey, how is it going?
I'm pretty surprised that SOMA is not much discussed here. It's a video game (not much of a game, more like an interactive experience), which shows problems of consciousness digitizing and asks (literally, there are question in the game) how you feel about your personality being copied into several robot bodies. Also, it's reasoning about our brain lying to itself, continuity of memory and perception, and etc., etc. Seems to me pretty actual at our time of dreams about eternal life in a robot form.
Who played it, what do you think? Is it a fair mental experiment? How many creatures you erased/disconnected and why?
