Sir Michael Gambon

The actor Sir Michael Gambon has died, aged 82.

He was probably best known for playing Professor Albus Dumbledore in six of the eight Harry Potter films, but had a long and successful career, winning four Baftas along the way.

Not being a Harry Potter enthusiast, I remember Michael Gambon mostly as The Singing Detective. Brilliant TV, brilliant actor.

Very sad. I was just enjoying his voice acting work as The Prophet in Elder Scrolls Online recently. Will have to play more this weekend in his honour.
