The theme lost me this month, but not everyone else, with great ideas as ever.

Well, I found it difficult this month and ended up writing something on my phone (complete with typos) while waiting for a ferry. As for voting, I enjoyed @Peter V 's tale but finally opted for for @genelewis

I have a weird repulsion to writing my own challenge — it seems like cheating. I love horror and it comprises 75% of my reading, so setting a theme for something (I’m one of the few people here) I love, seems poor sportsmanship.

To me, I might add, just to me; not saying other people should feel the same. My brain is a Gordian knot of contradictions
