DISCUSSION THREAD -- November 2023 -- 75 Word Writing Challenge

@emrosenagel .... How to Succeed at World Domination Without Really Trying .... This story is just wild and great fun. Probably more truth than fiction at the emotional level.

Guttersnipe: There is always another level to explore.

Troyzan787: Little things can have big problems.

genelewis: There is no limit to suffering.

Bowler1: Some things are as inevitable as death and taxes.

emrosenagel: Some dangers are too subtle to notice.

@Starbeast .... Post WW3 Procedure .... This is a hilarious story of an apocalyptic bureaucracy in full display.

@Astro Pen .... The Innominate .... This story taught me a word, and is the perfect bureaucratic nightmare.

Gah ...a timely reminder to check your entries folks. In my head I included the one word that was needed to finish the story, but in reality had left it in my head. Phnap and drat and ganuncle, ah well -off to the 100 worder (maybe);)

@Peter V .... The Librarian .... This is a story which reminds us that even bureaucracies don't do well in a post apocalyptic world.

My muse struck early this month and I'm willing to bet in a unique direction. I liked the story a lot. Unfortunately, she seems to have forgotten that there needed to be a bureaucracy involved. So I'm going to chain her to the post and see if she can come up with something else.

----------

@Ian Fortytwo .... Bureaucracy gets in the way .... A story so not unusual that it seems clearly diabolic.

@M. Robert Gibson ..... Letter from the United Nations Department of Excise for Ambulatory Deceased .... A story which clearly lets us know that bureaucracy never dies.

@Luiglin .... New World, Old Order .... A story that sounds both too likely and too far out and yet very true to life.

@mosaix .... Is That You Rita? .... A story of the last gasp of humanity and a surprise.

I'm in! Interesting/challenging genre-theme pairing. I haven't read the other stories yet, so I hope my idea isn't too close to anyone else's. Looking forward to reading and voting in the next few days, CC
