The two must duel it out by abstract creative writing, with a herring!
As happened the last time a tie-break ended in a tie, it remains a tie.what happens when the tiebreaker is a tie?
Yes, it's true. I'm a Red Herring...As happened the last time a tie-break ended in a tie, it remains a tie.
(THX1138's herring is a red one.)
@mosaix, would you explain the reference to ‘Ararat’ in the story please? I didn’t get it.I'm early to bed tonight as I have an early start in the morning (6:00am) so may I be the first to say:
Congratulations @Cat's Cradle!
Not mosaix, but I just googled it, and the "mountains of Ararat" are described in the Bible as the resting place of Noah's Ark (which would have been the referenced "obvious name for the ship"). Evidently there's a Mount Ararat in Turkey that's typically identified with that site, though there's contention whether the passage refers to that specific mountain (volcano, actually). I had it confused with Mount Arreat from the Diablo games. Silly, I know. Not the first time someone here has written a story too clever for me, and won't be the last.@mosaix, would you explain the reference to ‘Ararat’ in the story please? I didn’t get it.
