Dragons and demons as aliens in scifi

Hello,

I am featuring a story as dragons and demons as aliens in a science-fiction setting involving other worlds, and this has already been done several times like in the Pern series mainly they are combining dragons and demons with scifi, but so far this hasn't been seen as a real possibility, like we could actually someday find dragons and demons on other worlds, and while it might be very long before this ever happens in history I think it would be great for interest in scifi. What do you think?

There was a book I read ages ago—don’t remember the title or author— where demons and angels were presented as a collective memory/premonition of alien invasion.
