Intended on pulp novels and Giallo movies? I’ve just bought a new website for my fiction and whilst my own author website is aiming for old library/Dickensian, I want this to be more Giallo inspired.

Here’s a sort of example I mean.

I believe that it's actually called/named Giallo art or style.
 
This is the site I was trying to find when I posted that picture up above: Spent 15 minutes trying to find it via may phone and couldn't - and it took me about 90 seconds on my grown up, sit up properly at the table machine. Not because it was in any cache there but just because phones are crap.

I love the idea of blending old library vibes with Giallo inspiration. The contrast between those two styles could really make your new site stand out.

I recently got into linocut printing and decided to use some Giallo-inspired images for my prints. It was such a fun way to combine art with storytelling.

I don’t know how I missed this thread but I love looking over old pulp covers and think it’s a great idea to use this style.

Thought you might find some inspiration on this site
