February / March 100 Word Anonymous Challenge 2024 Discussion

It's all gone very quiet.

Stories from Robert Gibson, Oligoncella, Chrispenycate are yet to be attributed correctly, and although 6 of the 9 stories by THX1138 have been found, there are still 3 to go, and maybe you'll drop the wrong 3 from the 9 in the last guess.

Sorry, got back to the grind this week. Will have more time to apply myself to working through my notes this weekend. I'm enjoying this opportunity to play the game.

That's very good @Elckerlyc.
Since you have gone for one complete guess, I'll mark it as a composite too.

You have 3 errors, each error relating to a different author. One of the authors I mentioned as having outstanding problems 5 posts ago is now correctly filled.

Would you like me to be more specific?

Are the 3 errors connected to stories by THX1138, Robert Gibson and Guttersnipe, leaving Oligonicella's story as correctly identified?

M. Robert Gibson's entry is correct in your last guess.
The three other authors each have a story incorrectly guessed there.

I would suggest that, now, you have a list of 3 authors and 3 stories to associate with them.
Authors : THX1138, Robert Gibson and Guttersnipe
Stories: I See You, Dad ; Déjà Voös; The Joker Always Said He Never Wore a Mask, Until…

It would take a maximum of 6 guesses to get them all. So there really isn't much point in doing it and we may as well close the guessing if you all agree..

The answers, anyway, can be found Here

My particular congratulations to @elvet and @Elckerlyc for some very inspired guesswork, and to @Victoria Silverwolf for foxing the lot of you for so long.

Please feel free to make further guesses without looking at the list, if you wish. I'll be happy to mark them, but otherwise, I'll call it a day and hand the baton back to Elvet for the next go.

I've had a lot of fun running the challenge and will be happy to do it again, if Elvet wishes for another break, And thank you all, story writers, commenters and guessers alike, for making the running such a pleasure.

Not with those lists.

Not with those lists.

Oh. I'm very sorry. I thought I'd put the whole list in that spoiler.
Try this one.
