Since Im doing Cult Tv, why not Cult movies ? Which films do you think are the best ever cult films ever ? :D

Swimming To Cambodia

Afterwards, he wrote about his adventures while making it, and he called these writings Monster In A Box, and made a similar film about that. A sort of sequel.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Wim Wenders’ Until The End Of The World

I also quite like Werner Herzog’s Stroszek
The dancing chicken would be scene David Lynch would have been proud of

There there Little Shop of Horrors 1960 original film by Roger Corman definitely fits the cult film definition . It also inspired a popular mural which morphed into the a very popular 1986 buccal reboot .:D

And of course, Ed Wood

A great film . Johnny Depp as Ed Wood and Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi , both outstanding !

Ed Wood probably would loved the fact that he's remembered and loved for the films he did and who he was.

Salute of the Jugger wins this by a mile. Almost no-one has heard of this movie, and almpst anyone who has thinks that it's brilliant.

i would also suggest Time Bandits. Amazingly brilliant movie, and almost everyone outside of a specific time period has never heard of it. Easily the best non-Python movie that Terry Gilliam directed.

Is it really better than, say, Pink Flamingoes or 200 Motels or UHF or They Live or Freaks or Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes?

Of those I've watched, yes. They Live I thought was overrated, although it did have some neat ideas. I much prefer Carpenter's Escape from NY, but I think he was quite hit and miss with his movies. Prince of Darkness I thought was awful, despite starring one of my favourite actors Donald Pleasance.

I've not spoken to anyone who has watched Jugger and thought it was a bad movie.

Cat-Women of the Moon
1953 black-and-white 3D science-fiction film, produced by Jack Rabin and Al Zimbalist, directed by Arthur Hilton, the musical score was composed by Elmer Bernstein. One of the early beautiful women discovered somewhere in outer space movies. I saw this movie 60 years ago on TV, still remember the modern dance sequence, astronauts drinking wine and getting chatted up, the weird furnishings, but I don't remember the moon spiders. Critics have a lot to say about this movie, all starting off with the observation that there is absolutely nothing to this movie. But then they go on to write paragraphs about it.

I LOVE Cat-Women of the Moon and have watched it far more times than it is good for me.

The throwing the cigarette over the terminator bit has to be the best bit of bad SF movie science.

Koyaanisqatsi 1982 The combination of those shots and Glass's music will blow away

Stalker Tarkovsky

also
The Cremaster Cycle Mathew Barney
Eraserhead Lynch
Both of which will take you to the edge of sanity:eek: (or insanity depending.)
