The photograph reminds me a little of the country around Silverton, Oregon, when I stayed a night or two at Mt. Angel Abbey over 40 years ago.

A lovely place. I did many, many walks there training for my Kilimanjaro trek.

The Tolkien Trail in tbe Ribble Valley - around Stonyhurst College where Tolkien often staywd - is well worth travelling along it's 5-6 mile length. Some of the trees along the pathway are definitely Ent-ish.
