A pet hate of mine. Journalists using "Quizzed" instead of questioned or interrogated.
A Quiz is
"Name three countries beginning with the letter U" or "Who did Sunderland play in the 1964 cup final?" (trick question)
Even the BBC have stared doing it :

I think a group of authors, agents and publishers is called a Scribble -- as in, I saw a scribble of authors?
