Good to see more of the recent backstory for Eleven and Hoppe coming together, and sad to see it starting to fall apart. Dustin's new pet was obviously a nasty, but it was fun seeing how they came to that realization, and the following reaction. The thing is, is Dustin going to keep and protect it, so it becomes a guardian to them?
The Will stuff with the giant spider vision is spooky and creepy, but good to see Joyce see it on the video camera and allow the story to move forward quickly instead of dragging the issue out. Disturbing ending when Will turns to confront the thing, only it doesn't appear to work...
