John Mayall, founder of the Bluesbreakers has died, aged 90.

At various times, his band included Mick Fleetwood, Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor, Jack Bruce and Tony McVie, having a huge influence on 60s and 70s blues/rock music.

RIP, John.

Also Peter Green and many others.
Most of those who defined British Blues and R&B went through a stint with the Bluesbreakers first.

A sad loss, but no-one could complain about what he achieved whilst alive. And playing right to the end.
