so here's all the info i have on it: the cover shows a boy with hand stretched out swinging on a platform trying to grab a ball of light.
so from what i remember of the story itself. a young boy (between 13-8 cant remember) and his younger sister find a portal in their basement or laundry room that goes to another world. time moves different there than in their world. the boy finds these strange creatures swinging on this platform trying to grab this large ball of light that is floating in the air. the boy using his watch calculates the time difference so he can get not loose track of time in his other world. at some point one of the creatures falls and apparently dies and the others take him away.
that's it that's all i can remember please help me find the title. i have other books i cant remember but i remember the context a little so ill be making more posts shortly.
