here's all the info.
the title of the book is something like "the blue ghost" it has a pair of blue ghost hands raising up from the floor.
the story is about a slave boy who (i think) cant remember how he died and a boy tries to help him by going back in time to when he was alive to figure it out. this was in the late 1800s-early 1900s.
here are some bits of info i can remember. someone carves something on a wall using a key. the slave boy gets hit on the head( i am almost positive about this though not 100%) and there is a man who knows about this time travel event and tries to make the boy shoot the slave boy by stealing the object he needs to return to the future.
also this book has the N-word used in it while they were in the past by an angry mob.
