The Blob (1988)

I'm binge watching sci-fi movies before I move to college at the end of this month. Yesterday, I saw the 1980's remake of The Blob. What are your thoughts on it?

I saw it in the theaters back in 1988 . A s remakes go, this is one pretty damned good !

Beware the Blob 1972 was done laughs . It's basically a spoof the original .

X the Unknown 1956 by Hammer Pictures , staring Dean Jaeger , Edward Chaman and Leon McKern . A classic and one of the greatest Science fiction horror films of all time .

I've got to stick with the original since it was filmed at my local movie theater (The Colonial) and diner. Each year in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania there's a three-day "Blobfest" attended by thousands to celebrate, including a re-enactment of the "runout" from the theater.

There's been talk about another remake of this one.
