DISCUSSION THREAD -- September 2024 -- 75 Word Writing Challenge

I have four top choices for my shortlist: @Ursa major, @Daysman, @Luiglin and @AnRoinnUltra - two comic, one amusing and entertaining, and one swamped with pain and despair.

I have voted for the story written by @Luiglin because, in his universe, people on both sides choose a better way than war - very cheerful and uplifting!

If there was a prize for best title, though, I would vote for @Ursa major's, since it is smart, witty and apposite.

Parson: The "other" often seems inferior.

johnnyjet: Nature has the last word.

Culhwch: Gentleness can be strength.

The Judge: Some dangers are unpredictable.

paranoid marvin: There's a fine line between tragedy and farce.

Ursa major: Extreme circumstances call for extreme measures.

Vote goes to Culhwch for a charming fable.
