so he had fantasy covered as well as science-fiction.

Such an iconic voice and actor. First role that springs to mind is Darth Vader, but I looked up his other movies and didn't realize he was in The Flight of Dragons, an animated film from 1982 that I watched as a kid.

I was lucky enough to see JEJ live in the West End in a production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof -- he played Big Daddy, the overbearing tyrannical patriarch of the wealthy family, and he was terrific in the part, even generating sympathy for the hateful character.
