I recently watched Blued Eyed Samurai on netflix, an animated series set in Edo period Japan. I thought it had beautiful animation at times and was an engaging and somewhat graphic Samurai tale.
Well then the Algorithm kicks in and I'm now seeing lots more animated series popping up on my feed. Including several sci-fi or fantasy series. I wasn't sure which to choose as several looked good but I have now started Scavengers Reign and it's pretty impressive, a unique and bizarre alien world. I'm enjoying it so far.

I wonder how many sci-fi series are now appearing as animations on the streaming platforms and also how affected by the 'algorithm' we all are.
I love talking about it as though the Algorithm is some kind of sentient power that rules things, rather than just a simple benefit of the digital information and data they gather on us.

All hail the algorithm!

YouTube's is even more noticeable. I only have to watch one video on a new (to me) topic and YouTube assumes it is now my undying passion.
