It's genuine, from what I see at a Dylan discussion site.
It will be too bad if this tweet from Dylan sets off a bunch of speculation about him as being a fan of horror fiction, Lovecraft, &c. prematurely. What I keep thinking about is this, that the author of "Every Grain of Sand" might have been stopped in his tracks when he read that sentence in GGP: "In every grain of wheat there lies hidden the soul of a star."
