They are progressing. Now taller than the original sentry model and the plastic window in the chest region in the earlier models has shrunk considerably to cut down on vulnerability. The rubber tires seem like a weak point. They can be remotely controlled by humans for more complex actions which brings up an interesting question. How many robots can a person control at one time. What happens when all the robots need to be independently controlled and not everyone is available. Will all the guards be qualified or even able to competently operate the robots in an emergency situation. Will the sentry robots do street patrols with the cops sitting in control rooms directing all kinds of traffic.
