What are some themes you guys like?

Hello, I was looking around and I hope this is a good question to ask. I've always thought of theme as the hardest to pinpoint element of story telling, but I have quite grown to appreciate it. So this can be a general question on what you like or your thoughts on theme and its relation to fantasy in particular.

Some themes I like are moral duality, choice vs destiny, friendship, complex families. There are a lot more. In childhood I would say I drew a lot of theme inspiration from Star Wars in particular.

Survival and perseverance against seemingly impossible odds is a welled used theme in many types of stories .
